HARRISBURG, April 24, 2024: State Sen. Katie Muth (D-Chester/Montgomery/Berks) and Physicians for Social Responsibility Pennsylvania will join author Justin Nobel and several environmental advocacy groups and impacted residents at a press conference on Tuesday to discuss hazardous waste and worker safety in Pennsylvania.

The press conference will be held on Tuesday, April 30 at 2:30 p.m. in the Main Rotunda of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building in Harrisburg. The event will also be livestreamed at www.SenatorMuth.com/Live

The press conference will include discussion on the public health impacts caused by exposure to hazardous waste, the need to close Pennsylvania’s hazardous waste loopholes, and the specific findings uncovered in Justin Nobel’s latest book, Petroleum-238: Big Oil’s Dangerous Secret and the Grassroots Fight to Stop It.
